Diego's RV is a great private spot to stay. The neighborhood is peaceful and the RV was as described. This is a good older RV that Diego and his wife renovated to be more modern and comfortable. That being said, for travelers who have never stayed in an RV it's good to understand that things such as lights and bathroom accommodations will be different than what you are likely used to in a regular house. But Diego has done a great job making sure everything is clean, amenities are decently stocked and that his guests are comfortable. He made sure to refill the propane tank for the heating and stove while I was there and was very personable and polite. For anyone who is wanting to visit the Monterey area this is a great place to hang your hat and relax. Highly recommend staying at Diego's!

Diego's RV was exactly what I expected. It's in a private backyard that's separated from the house-yard, which was nice for ensuring privacy. It was self check-in, so there wasn't any coordination required. The RV was stocked with all of the essentials--cleaning products, shampoo/conditioner, kitchenware, space heater. It was spacious enough for hosting one person and could definitely accommodate a couple. Salinas was the perfect location to make exploring Monterey & Big Sur accessible without having to head the costs of staying directly in either. Would recommend if you're open to unconventional accommodations.
