Aberdeen lodge was a fantastic little find. Tastefully decorated, very well fitted out and space has been fully maximised. Immaculately clean throughout and very well equipped for a short stay. Bed very comfortable. Well located for visiting surrounding villages and towns. Also convenient for walking as the countryside is on your doorstep. Host communicated very well and were on hand if we needed them. Would highly recommend this airbnb.
We truly had the most wonderful stay at Aberdeen Lodge - Hayley and Ollie are thoughtful, kind and helpful hosts who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The space is beautifully decorated, oozing with character and charm, absolutely pristine clean, smells incredible and has all the facilities you could need for a relaxing stay. We fell in love with both Aberdeen Lodge and Lyminge - the village is peaceful and pretty, locals are friendly and welcoming and there are nice walks to take. We felt so at home and are already planning our return. Honestly cannot recommend enough for a chilled out getaway - a truly special and magical space!
It was a truly memorable experience in every way. The apartment is just as described, immaculately presented, quirkily appointed and we certinly intend to be back. We met Ollie and he was a mine of information about the history of the apartment. Hayley was very helpful and informative. Excellent hosts in every way. It is really conveniently situated, with a general store right next door and the Library Car park is handy and seems safe. (it was the station on the Elham Valley Line, axed by Beeching). It is also right on the Elham Valley walking route so handy for the ramblers! Well done Hayley and Ollie
Had a great stay. Easy to find everything in the apartment as there is no clutter, there is what you need. Plenty of space for clothes, bags, shoes etc.. Appliances are all modern. Only downside was hearing vehicles outside during the night as the airbnb is located on a main road. Is as described Hayley is a good host- messaged to make sure everything was alright and to let us know to contact her if there are any issues.
One of the best Airbnbs we have ever visited, I can only highly speak of the place and our hosts. We will definitely be back!!!

We are Ollie, Hayley, Hardy and Herbie. We live in Lyminge which is a lovely, bustling village that has a great community feel and in an area of outstanding beauty. We run the Lodge as a family venture and are looking at ways to live life in a more sustainable way. We love the countryside and outdoor living. We walk every day and breath in the clean air. What more can you want? It’s the simple things.
