I don’t even know where to begin. Evan’s house is the perfect combo of modern and throwback to times gone by. Every convenience and every comfort. A location on the White Oak River that cannot be beat… your own dock, an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of historic Swansboro, and a short drive to the beach. The house is immaculate, the kitchen modern and well equipped, and the beds super comfortable. The views to the river are unmatched. Birders should bring binoculars. Sunrises from the house are spectacular. Finally, Evan. I doubt you will find a more responsive host. We feel like we made a new friend.

Had an absolutely wonderful time! This is the BEST Airbnb in the area. We will continue to stay any time we can. Perfect location, amazing host and the house is exactly as described. Perfect views and close to everything!

We loved Evans place, beautiful home and location on the water. The house was well appointed with supplies for us to make a pot of beef stew (we brought the ingredients). The house was very pretty, as seen in the pics and very cozy and comfortable. It is bright and happy with wonderful views of the sound, birds, and even a dolphin right off the doc. We took the short walk safely under the bridge across the highway and enjoyed some beautiful shops and Christmas shopping. Everyone we met was friendly and appreciated our business. We made a reservation ahead of time for the Italian restaurant right next door and enjoyed a fabulous meal and very friendly staff. We honestly can not say enough about this wonderful home and host. We are already looking ahead for possible future dates. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

We will keep coming back to this perfect little getaway! The house has everything we need to relax and live our lives, the location can’t be beat, and Evan is really kind and helpful.
