Anushka’s place turned out to be our unexpected gem here. I think it was our best stay in Sri Lanka so far! For us it was a lucky try, because he didn’t have any reviews and we found out later he opened the place only 1 month and a half ago. Surely, the place looks better than in pictures. We had our room upstairs, the room is very spacious and we had a green view over the place. Stairs are a bit abrupt, so I won’t recommend this room for kids or old people, but for us they were super fun. If you find yourself in one of the 2 situation above, no worries, there are some rooms at the first floor also. The breakfast was amazing, typically Sri Lankan, Continental and varies considering your needs anyway. For dinner we ate fresh fish and sea food, cooked by their young talented chef. We also had scooters available to rent, which was perfect. We were able to explore the surroundings. Beach is 5 minutes away by scooter. You find shops with everything you might need 5 minutes away from the place. Fruits are all organic and delicious at Anushka’s agro village. The place is very quiet and pleasant. I would highly recommend it and thank you again for the warm welcome!
