Further along the canal bank in the village of Saul, guests will find a café which offers a wonderful spot for tea and cake whilst watching the boats go by. Saul also has a marina. We loved our stay at the Hay Barn at Milton End Farm. The space is very cosy, clean and well equipped. We spent a lot of time in the near reserve WWT Slimbridge - great place for birdwatching. We also enjoyed meeting some of the farm animals, as well as visiting the local Red Lion pub. Our hosts were very kind and supportive.
We spent Christmas upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite and attached Bride/bridesmaid suite. Very comfortable, quite and peaceful. Delighted to see all the animals from tiny piglets to ponys, donkey, chickens and koi carp etc. Lovely host and a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be back even to our originally book premises.
Beautiful converted barn on a lovely farm. Our stay was very peaceful, relaxing and in the perfect location for where we needed to be. The hosts were very friendly and responsive too - thank you for a lovely stay!
