We had several issues during our stay. The kitchen gas ran out and we had to wait several days for it to be replaced (easily preventable with a spare gas tank). The house manual states that water is a precious resource, so we were careful with our usage - but during our stay the host (or someone) over-filled the water tanks and left the water running, with the excess water overflowing out of the tanks, into the dirt outside, for more than 24 hours. Finally, on the last day the water pressure dropped throughout the house and was unusable for the rest of our stay. The house needs repairs- upstairs bathroom has cracks in the floor tiles. Any water falls straight through the ceiling, into the ground floor bedroom. Windows upstairs are jammed, and at least one nearly fell off its hinge when I tried to open it. Despite all that, it's a very cosy and peaceful house in a beautiful location. Aside from the issues above, the host and assistant were available to help with our requests.

Me faltam palavras para descrever a hospitalidade de Piedad. Nos ajudou desde as passagens até passeios e dicas da ilha, muitíssimo gentil e rápida na comunicação. A casa é muito fofa, o wifi é perfeito e a vista é impagável. Um bairro muito tranquilo, e Andrea, que trabalha com Piedad, é extremamente prestativa, simpática e sem elas nossa experiência teria sido completamente diferente. Passamos dias insquecíveis na ilha, e posso dizer com segurança que não há anfitriões melhores na ilha do que Piedad e Andrea. Seremos eternamente gratos por essa experiência e jamais esqueceremos os dias mágicos que passamos em Providência!

We loved our stay at Piedads place. It is quiet, with a gorgeous view and an easy walk to the beach. Piedad was a spectacular host - we had a number of problems with our flights to Providencia and Piedad was incredibly supportive and helpful with all the necessary changes in plans (taxis/mula rentals etc).

We enjoyed out stay at Cradle of All Stars. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The second floor balcony affords a beautiful view and sunset. We really appreciated all the easy communication with Piedad and Andrea. They helped us with transportation to and from the home and a moto during our stay. We recommend this as a peaceful and beautiful place to stay while visiting Providencia. We were happy to call it home.

we have been to the island about 30 times. we decided to pay more this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and to have a kitchen to cook fresh fish and other things from the island. Sleeping was difficult with the roosters waking us up at 4 every morning. The stairs to the second floor is steep like a ladder. The kitchen was small and left very little room for cooking and preparing meals. Downstairs the floor is slanted so it was difficult to get comfortable, to just relax or eat a meal. The downstairs shower did not drain water fast and always created standing water for at least a day. the upstairs shower is short and cramped that i would hit my head on the ceiling whether showering or brushing my teeth. And it was not as close to the beach as we thought. The view from the second floor terrace is nice at night. Neighbors never bothered us.
