What a wonderful family Christmas week! From the first enquiry until the day we left Hadrian was extremely helpful. The house was warm and comfortable with a real ‘wow’ factor! A very cool place to stay in a great part of a fun town. We can all throughly recommend this house.

If there was a ranking above super host, then Hadrian would earn that. Mega host? The space was thoughtfully designed and delightful to live with because of the light-filled spacious rooms and interesting art. The location was ideal for anyone planning to use the local mass, transportation, and Hadrian’s advice and helpfulness were beyond compare! Case in point: when I asked where would be a good charity shop where I could pick up a blanket for going to the Minack theater, He responded with a bag with blankets cushions, and even the plastic ground covering. Our Minack experience was comfortable and inspiring. Thanks, Hadrian, for a memorable stay in Penzance!

Hadrian est très disponible et réactif. Ils nous a donné de bonnes recommandations, le logement est superbe très bien équipé, très confortable et en plein centre historique de la ville. Tout est à proximité, la place de parking est facilement accessible et à 5 minutes à pied de la maison. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement si vous désirez séjourner à Penzance.

We had a wonderful stay in Hadrian's house. The location is perfect in its proximity to the train station and to wonderful restaurants and cafes in the heart of Penzance. The house had everything we needed, was very spacious and cozy, and was a great place from which to explore Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole, and Marazion by foot or transit. The showers had nice water pressure and the beds were comfortable (the seagulls were loud in the mornings, but we slept well anyway). Hadrian was an extremely kind and attentive host and made our vacation especially smooth and fun. Bottom line: this is a gem.

We arrived for a two week stay in Penzance to explore and do things in Cornwall, and had a brilliantly memorable time anchored around Hadrian’s very interesting and beautiful home and thoughtful steers. We stayed as a base for surfing at Sennen, riding in Marazion and walks up to Zennor, Treen and Perranuthnoe. It was above and beyond. Swimming of course to be found all over too. Its a wonderful space to find yourself in; creatively and practically thought through, it’s very relaxing, fun and peaceful. There are many treats here, including a little back garden to sit with the sun and weather, space to clean wet suits, and inside you find inspiring space to cook, wind down with music, fire and books. Or walk to Newlyn for fish and rollerboot on the prom. It’s a gorgeous spot for curious explorers. On foot, by car, train and bus - it works well - would be great for cycling too. Thank you again for having us - can’t wait to be back, and to try a different season too.
