Michelle's place is very well located on the outskirts of Coonabarabran just off the road to the Warrumbungles and Siding Springs. It is also an easy drive into town, Woolworths and the Imperial Hotel being the first major amenities you encounter driving from that side, so very convenient. There is attractive green space around the house with a rustic, semi cottage garden feel, including a very endearing small dog who came and went and horses in adjacent paddocks. The house itself is tastefully furnished with many and varied eclectic, quirky ornaments to create a pleasing bohemian ambience. The kitchen appliances are modern and all appeared to work. The house is well equipped. The loft bedroom would be a challenge for people with mobility issues but was otherwise quite doable, and even a bit of fun. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend, especially if you like rustic, bohemian spaces that are good value for what you get. Michelle appears to be a good, helpful host.

It was a lovely little place, close enough to the Warrumbungles and observatories. We did find the upstairs bed a bit awkward, but we were made aware of that prior to booking so it was our own choice - I just didn’t realise the stairs were more like a ladder. It is a cute place and the full kitchen is great too and also very close to town which is great for getting supplies. The bathroom wasn’t the best - very awkward shower. Overall, the place was good, but we felt a bit overwhelmed by all the requirements when checking out - which we hadn’t encountered before at other AirBnBs. We are always very clean and tidy and we respect the places we stay in, but I’ve never had to strip beds and take out the rubbish before at the end of my stay. It did make us feel a bit less welcome somehow to have so many rules laid out and since it was the most expensive of the stays on our 2 week road trip, I was surprised that we had to do these chores.

We loved our stay, this place is special. At night is amazing.. we also loved the little dog and the animals around. Definitely would be back !

Michelle's place was as described, very peaceful and a great location if you're interested in the Warrumbungal National Park; one road in and out. The accommodation was great and had everything we needed, including all the little things you might forget (cooking oil, shower gel and tonnes more). We had a great stay.
