An amazing place to stay, we had a great time. Everything was perfect, the place, the people and the whole set up. To be honest its a home where you can see the owners have put in so much love into. We loved it and cant wait to be back!
The location is beautiful and the farmhouse is quite unique. There is lot of space and openness about the location. The scene is spectacular - hills in the distance and one can see the horizon in the distance. The house itself is perched on a hill, there is an infinity pool and lots of space. The place is uniquely decorated and I would definitely recommend it to my friends. I too would like to visit it once again sometime in the near future. Also, there are 5 bedrooms which can cater to more than 8 guests. The caretaker Chandu is very courteous, helpful and most accommodative. The two cooks were also very good and the food was delicious. A must go to place...
Fab place. Been here twice now - and wasn't disappointed at any point. Very proactive hosts and their helper, Chandu, is super resourceful. One of the very few properties that look better in person than the photos!
The pictures don't do this place justice! It was incredible to see the place in person. We were a group of friends who were there for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed staying in the tastefully designed property with their fantastic book collection. The stay was comfortable and rustic. The pool was a big highlight for us. Chandu and the other staff were very helpful and cooked delicious meals for us. This place is far away from restaurants and such, so it makes sense to hire the cooks and bring your own snacks and other food items from Bombay/Alibaug city. No point wasting time driving to places because the property deserves all your time :) We plan to visit again and try the BBQ too! This place is worth the price. A big thank you to Sagarika and Martin for putting a lot of patience, care, and love into designing this property, it definitely shows in each and every detail :)
Firefly is a beautiful property. We went there for some quality family time and we were not disappointed! Chandu and team were fantastic, so helpful, pleasant and polite. Thanks to Sagarika’s clear communication and detailed manual we knew exactly what to expect. The pool was fantastic, the open kitchen was such a vibe, the common sitting areas were so beautifully done up and the entire vibe was peaceful and relaxing, just as it should be! We did face an issue with the washroom in the glasshouse bedroom. The roof in the washroom had a few gaps and there were quite a few frogs sharing the bathroom with us :), which made it difficult to use and so for the first two nights we had to use the common one by the pool, on the third night I requested Chandu to fill in the gaps in the roof and he promptly did so! Barring this incident we had a fantastic time and will definitely recommend Firefly to everyone I know!

My husband Martin da Costa and I live between Mumbai & Rome with our two boys - aged 19 and 15. Firefly has been our home since 2004 where we have had countless happy times with our friends and family; that was the intention when I had designed the place and of course to have an escape from city life. Now sharing Firefly , for hopefully more people to make their great memories here:))
