We visited for a weekend as a group of friends. The cottage was beautiful- even more magical in person and we loved the secret bedroom. The info book was extremely helpful and told us everything we needed! We located some lovely pubs and also a great takeaway. The lack of living room wasnt an issue as we enjoyed sitting round the table or chilling! The kitchen is fairly small but we managed to cook for 7 with no issues. Lovely , quiet area, each room is unique and very cosy. We loved the in room baths especially! One member of our group is a teacher so loved the storybook stairs! There is clearly a lot of care and attention to detail which created a cosy space that we would love to return to soon!

Lovely mix of accommodation around the site, the concept of the house was brilliant with its themed rooms, every room was en suite so no queuing for the bathroom. the hot tub was fantastic, the location was peaceful but within a short drive of the coast if you want to explore. We felt it just needed a bit of paint touching up, a deep clean and the weeds taking out of the garden but overall we had a lovely time.

our stay was absolutely gorgeous. the house was exactly what we wanted private surroundings and the host was so helpful and responsive if we had a question or a request. the hot tub was lovely as where the rooms. the bed were really comfy too. we where a short drive to whitby and there was a nice restaurant near by. thank you for our stay. we all have a really lovely time.

The property looks amazing - all rooms were large, clean and looked beautiful. The decor is quirky and a real highlight to the stay!
