A perfect cottage to explore the Jurassic Coast. The Old Bakery had everything we needed and was a peaceful space. We would book again!

We had a wonderful stay, thankyou! Highly recommend this lovely property with everything you need and nice garden. Rosemary and Noel, the owners, live next door if you need anything else (which we didn't!). Really great location for a weekend with the kids fossil hunting on both Charmouth and Lyme Regis beaches. For families with youngish kids (we have a 9 and 5 year old), we'd also recommend the Wetlands about 5 mins away (nature walks, bird hides, pond dipping), Lyme Regis Aquarium (small place but can hand feed fish and hold starfish - but closed in bad weather) and Axe Valley Wildlife Park (mini zoo with interactive sessions eg feeding guinea pigs and cuddling lizards). Food wise, we enjoyed Poco Pizza and Swim restaurants and Baboo Gelato in Lyme Regis, and the fish and chip shop nearby in Colyton. The Spar shop at the end of the road is handy for essentials.

Lovely clean space that worked well for 4 (2 adults + 2 teens) and dog. Large fully enclosed garden which was perfect for our dog. Spar at end of the road was well stocked. Rosemary was very responsive to queries before our arrival and we had everything we needed to make our stay really enjoyable. A great location to explore the nearby towns and villages.

Rosemary’s place was just gorgeous. It was quiet and clean. It has a beautiful backyard and is in a great location to explore the area. Rosemary was a delightful host and we really enjoyed our stay at Musbery.
