Chose their place because it is out of the hustle bustle of Kihei/Wailea with amazing panaramic view of the ocean, yet only mile/5 min drive to the Keawakapu beach Light years better than cramped condo off Kihei Rd. Your own private retreat! The only neighbor home you see is the rooftop of the house in front of and below yor deck. but does not block your spectac view and they are totaly quiet. Long/Saki have their house a good distance away but from inside cottage you do not see it. Long, Saki and their adult son Shin are available if needed and are so helpful and caring. They are quick to answer questions or get you something that you need. You dont feel them around. It feels very private. Studio is 700 feet but feels bigger due to the high beamed ceiling and many lrge windows. Never felt on top of each other with plenty of nice areas to hang out.. Neighborhood is upscale safe and new stunning flowers bloom almost every day. Thank you for your lovely place and your kindness.

What a sweet little piece of paradise they have nestled up on a hill. We absolutely loved our stay. Peaceful with breathtaking views of the oven, mountains and the sing song of birds in the morning. There was a warm welcome of fruits and freshly baked bread with a welcome and guidance when we first arrived. While we only stayed for 6 nights, we could have easily and comfortably stayed for weeks as it was easy enough to go everywhere ( several beaches and hikes) as the location is perfect for this “drive everywhere” Maui. The host provided beach chairs, Beach Mat, wave boards and some floatation stuff. They had large soft and hard coolers for your beach trip. Ample supply of towels and an added bonus of the on-site laundry machines. We stocked up on groceries for cooking meals and packing lunches for the day, as the kitchen is full size and fully equipped. Just ask for anything that is missing as the hosts are at the house beside the cottage. A pleasure to stay at Longs & Saki’s!

Mr. Long was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. His cottage is in a very good area close to the Wailea resorts and has breathtaking views. There are windows around the cottage and you can see the ocean and mountain. The sunset and sunrise are spectacular! He also has all the needed beach gear and the cottage isn't far from the beaches. I do want to point out that the shower is open so take that into consideration. This cottage is like a studio and is an open space. Other than that we love staying there. The view overlook any flaws.
