House is as advertised; very clean and peaceful with fantastic hottub and living room views over looking the valley. House is of good size for a moderate to large group with the hosts very accommodating, providing bath robes to use for the hottub. Only negative (barely) is that the pictures make it seem more secluded than it actually is, either one neighbor across the street. Otherwise it is a beautiful home worthy of a weekend getaway.

A few friends and I stayed at Kelly’s place for a wedding in Lyle, and it was perfect! There’s a nice big counter and mirror in the main bathroom that two of us got ready at at the same time. The whole space was warm and welcoming, and we appreciated the amenities like the Sonos. The hot tub was also a nice plus. We also easily cooked a full meal in the kitchen, and it was well stocked and had everything we needed. I’d highly recommend Kelly’s place for anyone staying in the area!

Wonderful place beautiful views of the river from the backyard and host was super nice! Our rental car needed a jump start and the host came out right away and helped us get the car going! Went above and behind our expectations will come again!

This A-Frame cabin is located just up the hill from downtown Lyle, overlooking the beautiful canyon and the Columbia River. It's an older home, comfortably updated, in a quiet neighborhood. Surrounded by oak trees and soaring hawks, we loved spending time on the terrace and in the hot tub. It's a short drive to The Dalles and Hood River so we found plenty of places to go adventuring, from waterfalls to fruit stands, to the historic Maryhill museum and Stonehenge replica, the free animal preserve down the road, and splashing in the river. The large living area, office, bedroom and upstairs suite provided plenty of space for our family of six. We had a memorable family vacation here!

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Kelly's home. It was very clean and there were no boxelders (or other bugs) during our stay! The home is small but comfortable, especially for two people and a couple of dogs. There is plenty of space to park (there were no winery activities going on during our stay, so not sure how/whether this might change). The home sits high on the hill above the Columbia River, with no homes closer than 100 yards or more, very quiet and peaceful. Our visit coincided with smoke and until the morning we left we were not able to see the river from the home . . . turns out there is a beautiful view.
