We're a group of friends that "getaway" every few months, we have found some awesome spots and have increasingly high expectations for where we stay. This lovely house is the first that we are considering as a repeat venue. The house instantly felt like home, the view was inspiring, the rooms well spaced for multiple activities/conversations to happen simultaneously, the kitchen well stocked with ample room for literally many cooks, it was a great location being close to great hiking and biking, and also an easy drive to Maryhill, The Dalles, and Hood River. Finally, it was a treat to work with Elizabeth! From figuring out check-in and check-out time that worked best for our group, to great ideas for local activities, to little back stories about interesting parts of the house, communications were always responsive and friendly.

Great location with beautiful views of the Columbia river! Clean, beautiful family home with lots of books for the kids! Very close to Rowena Crest Viewpoint. Elizabeth is a gracious host
