(Review written by my husband but I share the same sentiment.) In the best way possible, staying at Hazel Breeze B&B is like spending the night at Grandma’s house. The home is beautiful and immaculately clean and so very cute and charming. Our host, Nancy, was absolutely lovely. She welcomes you with a kindness and warmth only possible from an Irish mother. She made us feel welcome immediately, gave us some pointers for our stay in town, and even offered to give us a lift. She’s a complete and total sweetheart. Her breakfast was amazing on top of everything. Don’t let the walk from town deter you. It’s a great way to shake off the bar before a comfortable night. Full marks! Thank you very much Nancy! We loved it!

I was hesitant at first because I do not typically rent a room or such in a house. I'll usually rent the apartment or the condo or the like. But I am so glad that I did. Nancy was great. I was visiting Westport to see a friend of mine. My friend planned a three-month trip in Europe and messed up her hotel dates in Westport (also not surprising because she has so much planned). I wrote Nancy and asked if there was any issue with her staying the night with me. The room could accommodate 3 people and had separate beds, so it worked out perfectly. Additionally, I was overly optimistic about how long it would take me to get from Dublin to Westport. Nancy responded right away, thankfully no problem! The walk into town is about 10 minutes if you're feeling frisky and 15 minutes if you're looking to enjoy the views. The breakfast was great. I will admit though, I didn't go in for the full Irish that was offered :) I would stay here again and hope to come back with my husband!
