Georgina’s house was beautiful. It is in a great location and having access to the community’s “private beach” was a plus. We had a great time.

Georgina's place was lovely and generously appointed. We appreciated that we had access to her cooking equipment and spices/oil as well as her beach gear. It's a beautiful spot and if fortune takes us back to Candlewood Lake, will definitely stay again.

The house is gorgeous, but the host is not worth the hassle. We are a group of friends who rented the house, as we do twice a year and never had any trouble. Georgina text me Saturday and said that Friday she got complaints from her neighbors that we were throwing a wild party, which was certainly not the case. I told her we were out on the deck until around 10pm and the noise carries off the deck to the street so I can understand about the noise, but we were certainly not having a party and I assured her that it would not be an issue any longer, that I'd make sure everyone stayed inside after 9pm. Cops never called, no one came by to ask us to keep the noise down, no problems until the text. Saturday night I got a call from Airbnb for "breaking the rules, that while 8 people slept there, the three people who stopped by for dinner were not allowed because they weren't on my reservation. The listing clearly stated the house accommodates 10, and there is no charge for extra guests, so I called Georgina and explained to her this was not a frat party, we are adults in our 30s who most are married with families and she would have no further issues about noise and everyone was being very respectful of her home. She allowed us to stay, and that night two of her neighbors were blasting music until after midnight, which I though was odd since we took it inside around 10pm the night before. When we left we made sure everything was clean, threw away all the trash, put the dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom and folded the sheets from the beds we stayed in and left them on the beds so they knew which ones to clean. Sent Georgina photos of the entire house and thanked her again for her hospitality. Later that day she said we broke the rules and turned up the heat on her hottub, that it clearly stated it couldn't go above 84 degrees. I told her I never received any rules outlining that, just the general rules when booking. Then we supposedly broke the controller, but it I looked it up for her and the breaker just needed to reset and the manufacturer said it was a common problem. Now she is saying that we must have taken a hammer, that's right, A HAMMER to her granite counter tops because they're ruined. I explained to her that no one took a hopper or anything else to her countertops, that everyone was very respectful of her home and none of us would ever do that. She sent me photos of what look like pin holes in one area, and a reputable kitchen design center I work with told me he often sees the problem when a highly acidic or pure alcohol cleaner is used over time and causes corrosion....
