Welcome to our waterfront home with private dock access and amazing views of Candlewood Lake! The home features a spacious open floor plan, 2 patios, bountiful outdoor seating, firepit, hot tub, pool table and breath-taking sunsets. Located 90 minutes from NYC at the end of a cul-de-sac w/ a 2 car garage and onsite parking for 7 cars. Great for privacy, reunions, wedding parties or guests to stay. Kayaks included with stay. Boat available for rent upon request. Our Danbury Lake Candlewood contemporary home boasts spectacular views of the Lake. It includes four bedroom, two full baths and two half baths is on 0.92 acres right on the water. Our home has a very open floor plan, a very large kitchen with granite counter tops stainless steel appliances that opens up to the large family room with gas fireplace all open to a large deck with incredible views. The formal Living Room with vaulted ceilings and opens to the dining room. The laundry and powder room are all on the main level. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and separate private bathroom. It also has its own private balcony with views of the lake. There are two other bedrooms and a full hallway bathroom that rounds out the second floor. The Lower level has a large playroom/great room, another half bath, and office/bedroom that leads out to the lower Patio with hot tub and firepit. A 55" TV is located in the master bedroom, a 65" TV on the main floor and a 75" TV is located on the lower level. Indoor/outdoor games are available We are located at the endo of a cul-de-sac where there is plenty of parking and a 2 car garage. Electric Car (EV) or Tesla charger available in the garage. You have your own dock and a boat if needed. Available for rent all 12 months of the year!

Great home for a weekend getaway! Beautiful view of the lake, fully stocked kitchen, extremely clean and wonderfully responsive hosts. Would definitely return!
Pristine home right on the lake. Plenty of space and amenities to make us feel right at home. We were in town for a celebration of life and the Host were prompt with communication that helped facilitate our plans. The water access is close and offers beautiful view of the lake.
Peter & Matt saved our family trip. My family and I had a different Airbnb booked, 12hrs before we were suppose to arrive the host canceled Peter & Matt hosted us with 6hrs notice and the place and service they provided was incredible! The house has everything you need to have a great time plenty of games, beautiful views, well stocked kitchen, kid friendly, & most importantly clean! The pictures do not do it justice the views are breath taken and the house has so much space that even with a party of 7 adults & 6kids there was tons of room! While we were there it snowed and Matt dropped of sleds so our family from Florida can experience snow for the first time. It really was incredible! Matt recommended great places to go sledding and checked on us to make sure everything was going great. They were very responsive when we had a question. We can’t thank Peter and Matt enough for making this trip PERFECT! We are thinking about making this an annual trip! Can’t wait to stay here again
What an amazingly beautiful place to get away from the busyness of life and to relax and rejuvenate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return again.
Staying at Peter and Matt's place was a wonderful Christmas present to ourselves. The place was exactly as described, and our family thoroughly enjoyed it. Peter and Matt couldn't have been more accommodating. Not only did they give us permission to bring in a Christmas tree, they even offered to take care of its disposal at the end of our stay. They were very responsive to any issues that arose - even on Christmas Day. I'd absolutely recommend this place and hope to stay here again - next time in the summer when we can take full advantage of all the lake amenities.

Our property is located on a quiet, dead end road. Our quiet back road has direct paved road access and is easily found on online. Major shopping (grocery, liquor/beer, restaurants, etc) are just a few short miles away. You can reach them with a short 5-minute drive.
We have truly come to love all 4 seasons at the lake as it is such a quiet and private setting with zero through traffic. Summer offers lazy, warm, and sunny days spent in the lake swimming with beautiful sunsets each night, while the winder can offer the largest hockey/skating rink in the world (if mother natures cooperates). Fall is also majestic with the fall foliage.
The property has 2 driveways with room for approximately 7 cars outside. The property also includes a 2 car garage. The garage is enabled for electric car charging.
