Everything about the stay was perfect-the house, the weather and the amount of things to do at the house and in nearby center of ridgefield. Owners were easy to get in touch with. Also, the thought of everything-spices, o, vinegar, etc. less things to pack or to go out and buy. Will definitely go back next fall.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Stephen's Candlewood Lake home. Our only regret was that the time went by too fast. We would love to return.

The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood. It's beautifully landscaped yard, lake view, well equipped patio, and the sound of a creek that runs along a trail next to the home provide a beautiful blend of comfortable indoor and outdoor living. The morning mist rising from the lake in the morning and the sunsets were enjoyed from multiple rooms. The main level is open, starting at the living room with 3 cozy sofas, on to the 6 person dining table, a breakfast nook, and a kitchen large enough to have multiple cooks in it. The kitchen was well equipped: pots/pans, coffee-pod/ground coffee maker, blender, paper goods & more. There were plenty of towels, travel-sized toothpaste, lotion, body wash, and laundry detergent. We enjoyed the host's board games and deck of cards on game night. We used the layered lighting to transform the bright main level into a cozy "dinner and a movie" space. We're very happy we found this gem. The communication we had with the host was superb. Thumbs up!

This is a great lakefront getaway! All the amenities you need including dock, kayaks, lounge chairs, towels, grill and fire pit and more. Very clean and exactly what we were expecting. It's a great stay!

Really great location on Candlewood Lake. Beautiful views, very responsive host. Definitely recommend.
