Unique location, felt remote but not far from Abergavenny. Beautiful unspoilt cosy cottage, which accommodated our adult family of seven, everyone loved it, we had a great weekend.

An absolutely stunning location. Secluded, serene and a breath-taking view available right from your doorstep. Getting to the location can be tricky in terms of directions and rough roads, but we managed it without any issues in two standard cars with Imogen's accurate instructions. She was very helpful right from the beginning and was readily contactable throughout our stay. The cottage itself is very charming and cosy, and has been upgraded with electronically controlled central heating, an electric stove and a good running water supply. The fireplace in the living room is lovely, and there was plenty of kindling, wood and coal supplied without extra charge to keep us going over the weekend. Beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The area itself is a short drive from Abergavenny, and under an hour from Cardiff. Everyone in our family enjoyed their stay and we would love to come back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at Craig-yr-Hafod with our family. It has so much character, a great view and many opportunities for (strenuous) walks. We wished we could have stayed longer.
