We had a lovely short weekend break at Hendre Hall. The site is perfectly located for beach walks and walks in Snowdonia. Stunning area! I would recommend the Arthog Falls and Cregennan lakes loop. The cafe onsite has good coffee and delicious cakes. The cabin is lovely, and cosy with amazing views. Something to note is that the hob is situated at a very low height and you have to cook bent over/ on your knees if using the facility. There isn't a tap or sink in the hut so cleaning up must be done in a nearby wash room which wasn't a problem for us. For a comfortable stay I'd advise to bring mugs for hot drinks, a sharp knife for cooking and perhaps a bigger frying pan if you plan to cook lots! We would certainly recommend you stay here as the views are breathtaking!

I stayed in Cabin Hendre which is listed as glamping on their website. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable (though you wouldn't want to be taller than 6ft) and the staff were friendly. However I do think that when you're charging someone £80 plus per night, you shouldn't have to pay extra to have a shower. An electric kettle in the cabin also would have been nice, rather than one that needed to be boiled on a stove. The cafe was nice but it would have been good to have food offerings other than cake, especially in the mornings. Staff were lovely, very friendly, and the beachfront location was beautiful. I was told they're going to be adding to and upgrading the accommodation there, which will be good as there aren't many other accommodation options in the village.

This was a lovely place to stay. Great views. However the pod did not have a mini fridge in it which was quite inconvenient since we stayed 3 nights here and could only buy food last minute which wasn’t the best since there are not many shops close by. Apart from that a great little campsite with good facilities.
