What a complete disappointment. This home was probably once taken care of but at some point the owner just stopped caring. We had maintenance there twice in less than 24 hours to deal with the rear sliding door that eventually fell out of its track completely during some very strong, very typical wind (hats off to the maintenance guys - they’re good and kind and sort of quick). There is a long long list of issues - vaguely vomit stained carpets, broken doors, dirty cob-web covered lights (only some of which worked), a TV that only sort of worked but not really. There were games - but all the pieces were missing. The hot tub cover wouldn’t stay shut and we couldn’t find the key to unchain it to fix anyway, and based on the condition of the rest of the house, I am certain I don’t have enough vaccinations to put my toe into the hot tub; but there was a fly swatter hanging prominently from the dinning room wall. Weirdly, all of the bowls in the kitchen seemed to be covered in oil. Pairs well with Lucky Charms. For those in need of a microwave, there are two. Only one works - guess which one (hint: not the one you think). This is a party place. If you’re going to get blackout drunk and don’t care where or what you put your head on - this place will work. If you believe what is written about this place on here or other sites - well, good luck with that MLM scheme that is making you rich, too. I won’t spend time on the - literal - dozen beds which were tragically uncomfortable or the fact that there was one tiny room with six (!!!) bunks in it. The house certainly sleeps a lot; I would question whether the rotting floors on the main level could hold that lot of people (just lift up the oversized door mats to find the rotting wood and broken floor tiles). One plus - the main bedroom bathroom has heated floors! That was largely offset by the inconvenience of most of the lamps in the house not having any knobs so the lights could be turned on. But renters can’t be choosers. One other note, while the location is good (it is directly on the beach), it is also at a main public beach access so we did get to navigate around the various dogs that felt like it was their right to poop on the deck, as well as the dogs’ owners who felt it was their right to ignore that poop. But the good news - free poop! It is also right on an inlet channel so it’s fun to watch families that don’t understand the rip currents that creates or sneaker waves in Oregon in winter. It’s a fun way to pass the time waiting for maintenance to show up again, guessing which kid might get swept away from parents that are largely ignoring them (that was not fun, just as the 24 hrs we spent in this house were not fun). Short story - what a disappointing mess. It had so much potential. But it wasn’t safe; it was outdated and grimy; it was advertised as something it isn’t. Too bad we wasted a whole day here before we cut our visit short out of fear for our childrens’ safety.

We loved the location and living the coastal lifestyle for a few days. A great place to make your home base. Well-stocked kitchen, location on the beach and great Wifi that supported kids with home schooling and 2 adults working on computer. Would stay here again.

Truly spectacular house. The location is amazing -- fabulous view of the beach, and a cool pair of rocks a mile out in the ocean. House is top-notch -- 2 fab beach-facing master BRs (one with bathroom en-suite, one not), and several other large bedrooms for larger crowds (we were only 2 couples, but the place claims it sleeps 25, there are lots of bunk beds). Great gas grill, nice beach facing hot tub. Foosball table right in the living room. Nice furniture -- really does everything right. Feels very new, very up to date. Highly recommended!
