This lovely build has air source underfloor heating, triple glazing and green roof. The views from the property are stunning over looking Ben Nevis all the way around to Ben Cruachan and a 1 minute walk onto the ridge reveals a breathtaking vista of the majestic Loch Linhe, the Morvern Mountains and The Island of Mull. You can self cater or book bed and breakfast. You will be close to local amenities 5 minutes walk to the Shop & Post Office, 15 minutes from the Heritage Museum and Cafe. The house is incredibly warm and light with full length glass sliding doors that are south facing and the non slip decking that surrounds the bunkhouse allows you to sit out and eat with a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside. As Spring/Summer approaches you will see a profusion of flowers emerging on Lismore (which in Gaelic means the ' Great Garden.') This room can be booked at a reduced price for a couple who just want the double bed with a private ensuite. This room is small but fine for a family with young offspring. For four fully grown adults it will feel very tight for space but doable and has an adjoining bathroom accessible from the bedroom itself. The beds are very comfortable and you will be sure of a very relaxing sleep in a sound proofed room to ensure peace and quiet. you can also book another room if you are between one and two households. The main kitchen and sitting area may be shared with other guests.

Clare was more than welcoming, enthusiastically showing myself and the other new guests around, telling us about good walking routes, about the Island & introducing us to her animals! I felt at home in the Bunkhouse & the croft and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Sunset from the top of the croft across the water with the Highland cooows was beautiful. I'd love to come back.

What a beautiful place to stay, great design, shared kitchen and living space modern and well equipped. The setting is everything you would wish, sunsets from the top of the ridge just behind the house, beautiful walks from the door, central on the island so easy access to the shop, heritage centre and more walks. Highly recommend!

We had the double ensuite room at the bunkhouse which is a gorgeous building, and beautifully furnished and well equipped. Claire was so friendly and welcoming, and she even invited us to the ceilidh at the community hall in the evening. Lots of friendly people on the island, incredible views, we loved our stay! Thank you, Claire!

Would highly recommend this bunkhouse, warm, clean and has everything you need in the kitchen! Was the perfect base for our family in beautiful peaceful surroundings, Clare was super helpful and provided us with local information. Can’t wait to come back, thank you for making us so welcome!!

A storm prevented us travelling to Lismore. The host refunded in full even though it was an extremely late cancellation.

We are set into the ridge, away from other houses but in easy walking distance of amenities, on a working croft that is growing Tea plants, Trees and organic fruit and vegetables. There are also cows and sheep that roam on the croft, as well as wild brown hares, Dogs must be on a lead at all times. We also have nesting birds such as the Lapwing, Owls, Bats and Hen Harriers, Swallows that nest in the byre and we have rescued free range and very Happy hens that produce lots of organic free range eggs. The views from the house are utterly breathtaking. You can book this room as a private double en suite instead of the family room cost for the same price as our private double en suite if it is available.

There is no public transport on the island of Lismore but you can pre hire a taxi from Explore Lismore Website . Its 35 minutes lovely walk from the Oban to Achnacroish ferry. Ferries leave from both ends of the island hourly until 8pm from Port Appin ( ten minutes crossing for foot passengers only) and 4 times daily from Oban( the vehicle ferry) You need to book the vehicle ferry via calmac ferries if you want to bring a car otherwise you can just walk on as a foot passenger but be there ten minutes before departure
