Fab stay in a unique place. Maarten was very helpful and responsive. The house boat is great for a stay that is a little different and walking distance to the old town. Even had space for 2 bikes on board. Breakfast was a lovely selection and a great start to the day. We worked recommend and would stay again.

We had a lovely couple of nights stay with Maarten in Ghent. The room itself was very cosy and comfortable, with a good sized double bed and an easy to use sofa bed. The joint shower/toilet wetroom was a novelty, but was just part of the experience of being on a houseboat. The breakfast was promptly provided in a basket outside our door each morning and came with a nice selection of bread, meat, cheese, pastries, spreads, eggs and fruit. The location is fantastic as well, a 20 minute walk to the main squares, or there's a bus stop 2 minutes away that takes you there faster. The city is beautiful and Gravensteen castle is a must see. Maarten was very responsive and friendly and quiet as a mouse - didn't even realise he'd been to our side of the boat until I opened the door and saw the basket outside. Overall, a lovely city and a comfy place to stay.

GAND est une ville magnifique. Dormir sur une péniche est une expérience extraordinaire. Maarten a été à notre écoute et de bons conseils. Une très belle expérience à vivre. Je recommande de à tous.

Très bon séjour passé à Gand dans le logement de Marteen. Logement agréable et conforme à la description, bien équipé et literie confortable. Place de parking privée devant la péniche, très pratique. Le centre ville est accessible à pied très facilement (10min). Marteen est très sympathique et disponible pour nous donner des renseignements nécessaires. Dernier point, très bon bon petit déjeuner le matin , c'est important pour bien démarrer la journée ! :-)
