lovely place in lovely surroundings. beautiful walks to the quantocks and the beach. lots to do nearby and great places to eat within walking distance.. a truly dog friendly location. Thank you for a great stay.

Our stay was over a rainy period but we had a wonderful stay. The cottage is beautiful with wonderful bathrooms and big rooms. DVDs and games were available. Walks around the farms were breathtaking. Will come back. Was a stunning setting.

Wonderful place to stay, everything you could need & a great location for walking in the hills. Ann is a perfect host, extremely helpful and kind. Lovely little touches, can't fault anything.

Apart from the wet weather we had a delightful stay in Groom's Cottage. The facilities were all we could have asked for and it is always those "little extras" like the pint of milk and packet of cookies that make a real welcome. The owners had left a comprehensive list of places to eat, so although we didn't venture beyond The Hood Arms it was good to know there were many other options available. Walking from the house onto The Quantocks is very easy, albeit with a steep climb initially, but once on the moors you can walk for miles: however even if you are a competent navigator it really is recommended to take the footpath map from the house with you. Oh - must add the beds were very comfortable and the towels plentiful!
