Look no further- this place is very special! If you love nature, the sounds of nature, fresh picked fruit, a peaceful meditative space, privacy and gorgeous views of plants and geckos- this is for you. If you like the commercialized tourist places, you’re probably going to be a complainer like some of the reviews I read. This place is for you to connect deeper with yourself, nature and all that surrounds Merlinda’s property. We sat outside every morning and every night enjoying the serenity, sounds & views. Fresh homemade English muffins, jams and fruit were available to us after a very long day of traveling and delays. Bought 8 jams for souvenirs! Kitchen & beach supplies/towels well stocked- soap, hair dryer and other items! We loved picking fresh lychee! The temple is a very special meditative and healing place. The bed was comfy and clean. No need for air- truly cool enough with windows open and fans. Even while away, Merlinda communicated with us and made us feel so welcome!

Our stay at Merlin's place was really great. She was not there when we arrived, but she gave us all information we needed for the check-in in advance. We we're welcomed with some very tasteful papayas, some bread, butter and selfmade marmelade. We felt at home during our stay.

Our stay was comfortable and special!! The owner, Merlin is a very nice woman. She welcomed us warmly and cheerfully. This place has a nice garden, the stars are beautiful, and the sounds of koki, birds, wind and rain are pleasant. We were lucky to join the farmers market here as soon as we arrived!! We were able to get vegetables and eggs. There was fruit, rice, coffee, tea, and seasonings in the room, and bread and butter in the refrigerator. It was a great help for our food expenses. Merlin taught us how to weave leis from the ti in her garden when we went to Volcano. She taught us dedicate them to Pele. The experience here is like no other!! We hope to stay here again. Thank you Merlin!!

We found Merlinda's guest house just as amazing as the other reviewers have said. The house is equipped with everything you will need during your visit. It's comfortable for a family of 4. We lucked out to be there on a Wednesday during the farmer's market which was a neat experience. Merlinda gave us a tour of the farm and temple. My 7 year our daughter was thrilled to learn about sound bowls! We hope to come back one day!

Our stay at this Airbnb was fantastic. It matched its description perfectly, complete with a serene setting surrounded by lush plants. What really captivated us were the eco-friendly touches, like the all-natural washing soap. It was a delightful experience, and we're eager to return. Highly recommend for a tranquil getaway.
