Our week at Paul's yurt was wonderful. Sleeping in the yurt set us up for terrific days exploring Lund, the Copeland Islands, Desolation Sound and the Sunshine Coast Trail. The yurt is so unique - and so quiet and comfortable. Paul is the perfect host and a delight to get to know. I gave 5 stars to everything - and it deserves it.

Paulis is an excellent host with a beautiful space that makes the stress of day to day just slide off of you. the only complaint is how fast the time passed. the Yurt was perfect, quality bed and bedding. the hot tub was fantastic, and the cabin was great. 👌 kitchen was well outfitted and a great space to work in. would 100% rebook again!

Paul’s Yurt accommodation was a really incredible experience for our family. The kids loved playing inside of the yurt like it was a fairytale house and pretty sure they laid down some core memories doing so. The other spaces including indoor kitchen, bathroom and living room as well as the deck and hot tub were amazing spots to spend time in as well. The beds were really comfortable in the yurt and it’s easy to sleep in as it stays pretty dark inside. It also stays a pretty good temperature inside and didn’t get too hot even during some really hot days. The authenticity of the yurt is what makes it really beautiful and we had no issues with any sort of horse hair or other smells in the yurt. We would love to come back and stay here again someday.

The cottage was clean and very bright with natural lighting from skylights. The attached Yurt is unique and cozy, with nice decor (loved the beautiful traditionally painted doors and ceiling) and comfortable beds (though top bunk is very close to the ceiling, would be hard to sleep there). It is an authentic Mongolian Yurt so has a distinctive smell inside, not unpleasant, just a natural smell which we viewed as part of the Yurt experience. The deck has comfortable patio furniture for outdoor meals, or just sitting in the sun, or for star gazing at night…it’s very dark there so the stars you see are amazing! The property is beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. The area is quite remote so wifi and cel service were spotty some days, just FYI if you need reliable wifi for work etc. Paul and his caretaker Annie were friendly and quick to respond to all our requests. I wouldn’t call it a luxury cabin (as AirBnB says it is) but it certainly provided a comfortable and relaxing stay for us.
