Wildlife outside hopping around while you make your morning coffee was delightful. Easy check in, very clean, and peaceful. I enjoyed staying at this little chalet. The only thing I thought was an overlooked detail was there was no cooking oil or butter. (Which I realise isn’t a must as a host, but I think from previous stays I’m accustomed to it)

This place was a perfect basis from which to visit Cradle Mountain National park. The national park entrance is around 20-30 minutes by car away. The lodge is located quite remotely within nature, and you may be able to spot local wildlife around. The place is spacious for two people and has a decently equipped kitchen with even some basics, such as salt and oil. Currently, there seem to be ongoing renovations in some of the lodges around, but we never heard any noise from those, so it didn't disturb our visit at all. We would happily come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peaceful surroundings, cottage was spacious and very clean. Laundry facilities was a bonus. Bathtub was wonderful after long walks. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Cradle Mountain National Park.
