Our stay at Marks property was beautiful. We were extremely grateful for their hospitality and fellowship we shared during our stay. They welcomed us with open arms and exceeded our expectations beyond what was asked of them. We will definitely be back! Thank you Mark and Patti! ❤️

Clean quiet incredible place, great fishing and beautiful reefs for diving! No disappointment here! Great open quick and easy communication with host. I would highly recommend booking here! Thanks again, and as they say in the Bahamas it's never good bye it's until next time! And next is never soon enough for me! Cheers

Marks place is truly amazing, idyllic, beautiful and somewhere we definately want to come back to. Everyone is very friendly and the area is so beautiful. Jerry is on hand if you need him and makes you feel like family. The house is beautiful and has everything you need no matter who you are or your age. It is a perfect home. A must is to go out on the boat for the day. We snorkelled, caught lobster and swam with turtles!!! Amazing experiences and when we hired a car to look around the island we found Somerset beach pure paradise all to ourselves. So near to the airport (also a great experience on a tiny plane!) and so relaxing and friendly. You have to go!!!!!

This was truly the best vacation we have ever had! If you like fishing, snorkeling, exploring, and meeting amazing people, this is the place to stay. Everyone at the house was spectacular - incredibly helpful and informative on what to do, see, and experience. The house location is spectacular (great sunsets and views from the deck), and there is so much to see & do on the island (and right off the island). A mode of transportation is highly recommended, but the house offers quite a lot to do, too. Renting boats, kayaks, and cars is easy, made even easier by our thoughtful hosts. They started the first morning by bringing us fresh bread, offering us a coveted brand of bug spray, and bringing us a flat of bottled water. While we were warned about the bugs, none of us had any problems with them. We're from a place that sees a few mosquitoes so the bugs seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary (actually, much better than where we're from). We were given all the proper tips and were able to stay bite-free during our 10-day stay. There was easy access to fishing and snorkeling tours which left right from the dock. We didn't go on one, but I can feel very confident that they would have offered a memorable opportunity. I know the experience would have been well worth it! Even though we didn't sign up for a guided tour, everyone at the house offered amazing advice that continuously led us on better and better adventures. We love the water so took full advantage of the snorkeling and fishing opportunities. Snorkeling from the dock was a highlight and even if you don't like being in the water, you can enjoy the wide array of wildlife that cruise up and down the channel. A family of seahorses live right in the dock's alcove. Amazing! Right outside the creek are coral heads and small patch reefs that entertained us all. They are scattered in different areas and at different depths so all abilities can participate. They are in pristine condition! Utterly amazing! We tried our hand at bone-fishing (there is a flat right across the creek from the house), but they continued to elude us. The flats are everywhere and I worked on my spotting skills. Definitely, didn't work on my catching skills, but that is my own fault. The bonefish are there! My father went on a bone-fishing charter on the west side of the island and had a successful day on the flats. He won't stop raving about that for awhile :)! We tried our hands at fishing from the docks and the deeper channels outside the creek. I am not an avid fisherman, and even I found success with the fishing rod. We enjoyed eating fresh fish every night and our hosts even brought us lobster tails a few of the nights. Such a treat! The pool was well-maintained and offered the fresh water rinse we...
