An amazing spot in the beautiful countryside. Fresh bread and a Victoria sponge cake was waiting for us on our arrival which was a lovely touch and tasted amazing. Everything you could possibly need was provided and really did feel like home from home. We will definitely be back!!

We loved our stay here, the huts are so cosy and clean and the whole space is just amazing. The surrounding area and views are beautiful. Penny is a brilliant host, her daughter had kindly baked us a tasty lemon drizzle cake and lovely sourdough bread. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay and we can’t wait to come back!

I booked Penny's place for a weekend break for my daughter and her boyfriend and they both loved it! They both said how lovely the shepherds hut was and commented on the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The hut itself was cosy and pristine - perfect for a weekend escape. Penny is a very friendly, kind and helpful host and was keen to point out places of interest to them. They were welcomed with lovely goodies and Penny was always at the end of the phone to help with any queries. They have said they would love to return and have recommended that we book a trip there soon. Thank you, Penny!

What a magical place! Penny welcomed us when we arrived and had lit the fire for us to make the barn extra cosy. We had been left a delicious Victoria sponge cake, fruit, milk, yoghurts, tea and homemade sourdough, which was a wonderful treat! The accommodation is so unique, and even with our dog and 3 children we still felt we had plenty of space. The ‘half open’ barn is a wonderful extra with games and paints to keep you occupied on a rainy afternoon. The views are beautiful and the kids loved playing in the field. The beds are very comfortable and even when the weather was windy and raining we stayed very warm and snug. Penny was so kind and helpful, we have no hesitation in recommending this place and will hopefully return one day.

This is our second stay and will not be our last, it’s the perfect off grid place to go to unwind - lovely friendly greeting and fresh bread and home made hot cross buns waiting for us in the kitchen. Beds are super comfortable and only a ten minute drive to the seaside.
