We provide a comfortable and well stocked family home, which is conveniently located,has a large private yard and is a great place to relax and unwind. Because of our location, you could use it as a base for exploring all that PEI has to offer. Whether you want to unwind, or explore beautiful Prince Edward Island I am confident that you will enjoy your stay @ Cricker Cottage. As you drive up Winter Street you will be greeted by a well maintained three dormer home. (Last house on the left) This property boasts three patios, one on the south side, one facing east and one off the master bedroom. The east side patio has the added protection of a veranda so you can enjoy the sunshine or shade. Patio furniture, a clothes line and a propane barbeque are available for your enjoyment. There is a small fire pit for those who wish to enjoy an evening bonfire. (except when the Province has a fire ban in place). Once settled into Cricker Cottage everything you need is literally available within walking distance. Amenities include a bakery at the end of the street as well as a grocery store, gas station, a post office, a Credit Union with a 24hour ATM Machine, restaurants, a Seafood market, the local Lions Club with a bar, beautiful white sand beach (15 min walk), Seawalkpark and shops, live Theater at Watermark Theater, Liquor store, and a Pharmacy. All these are within walking distance or a very short drive. Stroll around the wharf, see if you can locate my nephew's boat the "Cricker Crunch". Take a stroll on the Boardwalk which also leads to the beach and to North Rustico Harbour where there are places to dine, and a gift shop. For those of you interested in outdoor activities there are ample opportunities for deep sea fishing excursions and Kayaking tours. Have a bike? Take the Gulf Shore Parkway located within the National Park, and cycle the paved dedicated route along the coastline to Cavendish. Approximately a 10 km ride; here you can connect to other trails.

This was our second stay at Cricker Cottage. The house was clean and comfortable. The location is great - walking distance to North Rustico harbor and beaches. Easy access to bike paths. Floyd made us feel welcome. It is a wonderful spot for a summer family getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Cricket cottage. Floyd was very helpful with suggestions and his place is very comfortable. A well equipped kitchen, a beautiful garden including raspberries, comfortable beds, lovely outdoor porches and more. The location is a great spot from which to explore PEI and in addition the town is very walkable with plenty to see and do. Thank you Floyd!
We had an amazing stay at Cricker Cottage! Beautiful location (walking distance to everything) and Floyd was a great host. He made sure that we had everything we needed and left some notes to help us navigate the surroundings. We just left but we already thinking of coming back next summer!

Located at 55 Winter St in the picturesque town of North Rustico (known by locals as The Crick). Setteled as a fishing village, recently given Town status, fishing still is the main industry along with Tourism. Lobster fishing in this area is during the months of May and June; so if you really enjoy Lobster come during the month of June and perhaps purchase them off a local fisherman, pick up some salads and bread at the local bakery and come back here and enjoy...local restaurants include By the Bay, Fisherman's Wharf Lobster Suppers and Pier 15 Restaurant, Blue Mussel Cafe and On the Dock Eatery.
Arriving on the Island at the Charlottetown Airport? Take route six (turn right at the round about) follow the signs to North Rustico on Rte 6. Coming from the Confederation Bridge take the turn off toward Charlottetown and then Rte 13 in Crapaud toward Cavendish then Route # 269 into North Rustico. Winter Street is an immediate left after the Irving station. Cricker Cottage is the last house on the left; # 55 Winter St.

Hi, am 58 years old. Cricker Cottage is the house that I grew up in but did an addition in 2009 and another major renovation in 2014. During the Winter of 2022 I had the kitchen and downstairs bathroom full renovated. I opened up Cricker Cottage in 2017. I take pride in my home and I am a proud islander. In my spare time I enjoy keeping active whether it be at the gym, walking, jogging, exploring the beaches, cooking and a glass of wine....
