Our stay was all in all good. In our opinion, some aspects are five stars, and some three or four stars. We spent a couple nights in the fall and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, five stars! Host communication was clunky with us not knowing who our main contact was and after we checked-in there was no response to our msgs on the Airbnb platform. The weather was nice to sit on the dock, but the dock was closed. This was especially frustrating bc the co-host referenced the dock upon check-in, and we were looking forward to using it. If you come in the shoulder seasons, be sure to ask in advance if the dock is usable. The cabin itself is more spacious than we expected, perfect for two. The floors were grimy and felt sticky on our socks/feet, but the bathroom and kitchen were clean. The things we would rate as three stars can be easily addressed so, in the end, we would still recommend this cabin for people wanting an intimate getaway.

The love shack was a prefect getaway after our secret elopement. It was relaxing and the fall colours were absolutely beautiful. The place is warm, cozy and inviting. We had Bobby cater a charcuterie board and bottle of champagne for our arrival. Norman, RuthAnn and Bobby left us a congratulatory card and flowers which was very thoughtful. We also had Bobby cater breakfast the next morning. She provided a beautiful spread with lots of food - definitely recommended.

Norman, RuthAnn and Bobby were great hosts. The place was exactly as described and had plenty of fun activities. The hot tub under the fall coloured trees was a real treat - we’d love to come back in the future.
