Ferid’s place was a nice basic accommodation in the desert. We had some problems with the toilet flush but other than that things went smoothly. Ferid‘s family is really nice and very attentive. I would recommend his apartment to you.

The place was sufficient for us, a large family of seven. The host was helpful and digilent in trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Communication was fine if not a bit excessive. Since we were staying in the winter, I was concerned about the place being cold or hot water not working as mentioned in other reviews. Fortunately for us, we did not experience any of that. The hot water works fine and the place is warm enough. Overall, we had pleasant night and would not hesitate to stay there again if we have the opportunity. The place is neat and tastefully furnished. On the downside, the GPS coordinates of the property were inaccurate (and it was not just a map projection problem in southern Tunisia). The outside door was challenging to close.
