This is an amazing villa, beautifully decorated, comfortable and very quiet, yet only a 10 min walk from busy central Ubud. The host Wayan Nick is very friendly and easy to talk to. He and his wife and children live right next to the villa, so it's easy to see them. It is truly a special place.
Truly there are not enough words to say how wonderful Wayan and his family are. They made us breakfast free of charge every morning from a fairly large menu, with fresh fruit juice, and fresh baked brownies. One day we commented on their bountiful passionfruit tree, and Wayans wife picked a few saying she would juice them for tomorrows breakfast. They let us check in much earlier then the time they listed, and gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant to go to nearly next door while they finished meticulously cleaning. The space was immaculate and so peaceful, with a fully stocked mini bar, and a large kitchen. Very clean pool. Filtered water was provided which is a necessity. One more time though, the family truly is a treasure, and makes the already incredible location and B&B nearly perfect. Long, but deserved story short, STAY HERE!!! You will not regret it for a moment (especially with that price tag)
Although we were only there for three nights and away a fair bit, we felt so at home. The family is just so welcoming and everything was perfect. Just wish we'd stayed for longer. I have no hesitation in recommending Wayan's house to anyone wanting to stay in Ubud - we loved staying there and will hopefully be back one day.
What more can I say other than simply wonderful! I am familiar with the area and the ease of walkability into town. The host could not have been friendly and more accommodating during our entire stay for any wants, needs or suggestions. Do NOT hesitate to stay in the lovely family compound. I will be back :)
We had the best time with Wayan and his family at this beautiful villa / home stay The location is close to the centre but is quiet , the Villa at the rear of their property was perfect - well equipped, clean and quiet. The pool was great The highlight though was Wayan and his family - wonderful, kind, warm people 😊

Hi, my name is Wayan, but you can call me by my nickname, Nick. I love to host people from all over the world in our Balinese home. I work as an electrician during the day so you can make sure there is no power outage here. My wife, Ketut and other family members live with us. Ketut is always around to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My father, Nyoman is also available to take you to any tours around Bali and my mother, Wayan is here to give you many smiles. :) In my free time, I like cycling around the rice fields, gardening and having fun with my 2 children. We built a beautiful private villa behind our home only few years ago to provide you modern luxuries with the opportunity of experiencing traditional Balinese living at the same time.
