With a fireplace, hot tub, and nicely stocked kitchen, it was a great place to gather with friends for a relaxing New Years Eve weekend. Definitely recommend booking this place!

This is a great house. It has a fairly open first floor plan, with a table that seats six to eight, and additional bar seating in the adjacent kitchen. There is a big, comfy couch with a fireplace and TV in the living room. There is a lot of outdoor space, as well, but it's a bit crowded with outdoor furniture. The kitchen is well stocked for people who like to cook. There are three large full sized bathrooms (one on the first floor). And, while it sleeps nine, there are really just three bedrooms, since the fourth is not accessible without walking through the main bedroom. It's a lovely, short walk to the beach or to local bakery and lots to do in the area. I couldn't give the house five stars for a few reasons: we never received the standard, "upcoming stay" email with directions for accessing the house, suggestions to bring firewood, etc. Nor were there directions waiting in the house at all. No information on wifi password, how to operate the TV or hot tub (which we couldn't use w/o guidance). The linen closet is well stocked, but we had to hunt for it -- and no bathroom had any soap in the showers, so we had to go out and buy that. There was nothing about how to dispose of trash/recycling, whether or not to strip the beds, etc. When we tried to use the dishwasher, it didn't work. It looked like it hadn't worked previously either, since there was an unused tab that had been ejected into the bottom. We contacted Monica, who said she would ask the owner, but we never heard back, so we washed all the dishes by hand all weekend. These are easily corrected issues -- and they largely deal with communication. But for the price, we shouldn't have had any issues at all.

It was a great house with everything we needed! The walk to the beach is ~10 minutes and the private beach access is SO WORTH IT. We had a great time!
