Wanda Jo and Mike were awesome hosts. They made breakfast fresh Saturday morning when it worked best for me, my buddy, and the other couple staying there. Sunday, she got up early and prepared food and left it in the fridge for us. She took my buddy out to feed the cows, which he said was one of the coolest experiences ever. Wanda and Mike both took genuine interest in myself and the other guests. I would recommend them to anyone!! It is worth the drive!

Absolutely one of the best Airbnb's my boyfriend and I have stayed at!! Wanda Jo and Mike made us feel right at home! they are very kind and generous people. It is obvious that they really enjoy being hosts; they go above and beyond in every aspect! Upon arrival Wanda Jo met us outside and let us choose if we wanted to relax or go see some of there cows, we got to feed some heifers as well as bottle feed a calf that was born that very morning! It was so fun to learn about their farm and its history. Wanda Jo provided us with a delicious dinner and breakfast in the morning. The hospitality and conversation were lovely but what really stood out were all the little things; the extra towels and toiletries in the bathroom, a clear sign telling guests to help themselves if they need anything, towels folded beautifully, snacks available in the kitchen and in our room, and she even sent us out with a goody bag as we headed out on the rest of our roadtrip. We definitely will be coming back!!

Our stay at Wanda's was a pleasure we would repeat anytime! Her hospitality is second to none. The ranch is interesting and a beautiful soul refreshing place to relax. We loved gazing at the grandeur of the night sky that few places can reveal like the sandhills can. We can highly recommend staying here.

I grew up in rural/small town Iowa, but I've been living in the city for the past 20+ years. When I was looking for a place to stay in the area, I decided Waits Ranch was the perfect option based on the prior reviews I'd read. To echo what others have said, Wando Jo and Mike are wonderful hosts - they are warm and inviting and really make you feel welcome. They love to visit, share meals and give you a glimpse of ranch life (and experience it too!). Wando Jo even gave me fresh vegetables from her garden to take home. I hope to book a stay here again I had such a positive experience. If you're thinking about making a reservation, as the saying goes, "just do it!"

We had the most wonderfull experience! Wanda and Mike made us feel very welcome. From the start untill we left. They took us handfeeding the cows. In the morning Wanda made us a full delicious breakfast! And just before we left we had a little real American activity which we enjoyed fully! Thanks a lot for that! Kind regards, Kim and Tom
