Carrie, The home is well kept and lovely. The location is mostly quiet until 6 AM, but we are here during harvest time and the day starts early. As our group drank coffee that morning, a Minnesota requirement. I decided to walkover to the wine warehouse, there is a gate in the back of the house which accesses the warehouse. I walked through the area and chatted with the staff. I really enjoyed watching the process and the experience. Later in the day our group went to the complimentary on-site wine tasting experience it was lovely! If you love to cook the kitchen inside and grill outside are able to satisfy. In summary, a great location for a daytime event like a tasting with a group friends. Overnight, we recommend 2 sets of couples and if you have kids 4 they would be no problem. We had a wonderful time at Carrie's place. We loved the location, surrounded by vineyards, and complimentary tastings at Roche Winery's beautiful tasting venue were included. Bear in mind this is an older house (with a great modern kitchen) and there were a few things that could've been better. The kitchen garbage disposal didn't work, some of the window screens were torn, a few louvered window shutters had individual slats that didn't work properly, and the toilet in the master bedroom didn't want to flush completely without a second or third try. Carrie looked at the disposal but couldn't get it fixed while we were there -- not her fault. But these were very minor things and detracted only a smidge from the experience. I can't say enough about the great pool and hot tub, and the numerous lounging areas. All in all it is a great place to stay.

Clean house, well accommodated kitchen, quiet location. We had a great time using this as a home base to explore many different areas in surrounding wine country.

Loved the home! It’s close to town, and the grounds are peaceful and relaxing. The home was perfect for my high school friends trip 2022. We’d come again!
