The place was better than the pictures. We celebrated my parents 60th Diamond wedding anniversary. We had 19 Adults and 5 children. There were amble place for all of us. Mike was very responsive and everything was very smooth. The Hot tub was a bonus, beautiful BBQ with a long garden table. This was one of the best places I have stayed in. The mansion has a wonderful character you really feel special when you walk in. The long dining table was perfect for our evening meals. The kitchen has so much space with extra fringe in the utility room. We were so blessed with the wonderful weather so in all was a perfect weekend. Definitely worth the money. If you are looking for something really special I would recommend this place. You will feel like you are in Downton Abbey smaller version with the working fire places. There was nothing negative from checking in to checking out. Very responsive host made the stay comfortable. Thank you so much.

Outstanding place with huge character. Plenty of space for our family group of 17 plus 4 dogs over Christmas. Michael very responsive and was there to meet us. Grounds great for the children and dogs - several acres and all enclosed. Hot tub a favourite with the children and the Aga was so useful for cooking for large numbers. House lovely and warm , log burners also , plenty of hot water. Beccles very pretty and an easy walk.

Even better than expected. Beautiful house in perfect nick, well kitted kitchen, helpful host who was able to drop by when we ran out of dish washer tablets.

This place was better than the photos! beautiful home and stunning surroundings and a perfect get away for a large group for a week /weekend. Michael and Sally are absolutely amazing hosts. Quick to respond to messages and incredibly helpful, welcoming and could not have done more to make sure we had a perfect weekend. Our host helped to organise a bonfire and catering for one of nights too! Didnt see much of the surround areas as the house it's self for the weekend was all we needed.

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful house and grounds. We were a party of 17 and the house provided ample room for everyone. The kitchen was a lovely gathering place and the house was warm throughout. Also, the hot tub was a perfect addition. Thank you for having us, Michael!
