The apartment was exactly as described, easy walking distance from several good restaurants, two on the ground floor of the building. Comfy bed and overall a satisfactory experience.

We traveled to Carbondale for the Solar Eclipse. Location was key, it's basically in the student village but far enough away from the main party bars that it wasn't too crazy, but close enough to walk to great restaurants (check out Flame Bar and Grill!) and a nice patio bar across the street, The Cellar. Host was responsive and helpful. The apartment itself was great for the price, spacious for 2 people. Bed was comfortable. Place was clean, but my only complaint was hair in the bathroom and on the towels, and black specs of something on the spare toilet paper. Shower works fine, but it is a tight space. Alley way is a little noisy on the weekend and there's a train, but I knew all this before check-in so I wasn't dissatisfied. Overall, everything worked, bed was clean, and would absolutely recommend for short term stays.

For being above a restaurant in downtown plus right across from Amtrak, it was fairly quiet. Just a train or two each night during the middle of the night. The place is decent. Would stay again

The apartment was mostly fine. Bed was comfortable, apartment uncluttered. Fluffy clean towels. Location just 5 min from my mom's. A half-used bar of soap and someone else's poof were in the shower. Ick. The entire shower groaned and tilted when I stepped in, which was a little terrifying. Loved the showerhead, though, it was amazing. The hand soap in the bathroom was about 99.9% water, wouldn't lather. I used dish soap. The microwave was great, it was clean and large and worked fine. One of the outlets in the kitchen is blown so I had to search for another to plug in the toaster. Then the toaster tried to eat my bread, and I had to surgically remove the toast. There are trains throughout the night that seem to need to lean on their horns like they're Paul Revere, so every so often I was kinda blasted out of sleep. In between was fine. Bed very comfy, clean, temperature good. In general, an ok stay, probably not for me, but I would recommend for a student.

Abdus was a great host, very responsive and friendly. His apartment is comfortable with an excellent location.
