My wife and I had a great stay at the BirdsNest while visiting Acadia National Park. It's a cozy little space (maybe a little tighter than the photos suggest) perfect for a couple or solo traveler needing a place to crash. It's not exactly stacked with amenities, so I probably wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a woodland retreat to hunker down in. But we were spending most of our time in the park and exploring the area, which made it a really good value for us. Having our morning coffee on the deck with a view was wonderful, and though the little town of Southwest Harbor within walking distance only had a few options for meals/coffee/alcohol, they were all high-quality (Cafe 2, Harbor Table, Little Notch, Sawyer's Specialties). Check in/out was effortless, and Susan was immediately communicative with a couple small questions we had.

The Bird’s Nest was absolutely beautiful. My fiancée and I stayed for a few days while we explored the surrounding areas. Love sitting on the deck drinking my morning coffee with a book. Definitely a bit of a small space but absolutely perfect for us, would most definitely come back!

My mother in law stayed here for our wedding! She absolutely fell in love with the cute space. Very quaint with everything you need for a short stay. The view from the front door and porch is just gorgeous! She would love to come back here to stay!

Wish I could’ve stayed longer. The Bird’s Nest is such a great location and the perfect coziness to come back to after a long day of exploring in Acadia. Felt very at-home on the road. Hope to be back!
