My adult daughter and I loved our 5-night stay here. The apartment is very roomy: large kitchen, living room, dining area; plus two comfortable bedrooms. Outstanding kitchen for appliances and utensils; pleasant (but not dramatic) outdoor views. Well lit, large living room couch. Excellent bathroom and shower. Quiet and roomy parking area in a quiet neighborhood--Southwest Harbor is far from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. Honestly, it felt very homey for us. Elly and Scott have done a great job with art on the wall and plenty of other nice Mt Desert Island thematic touches. Nice selection of games, plus helpful traveler info and books. Very clean and up-to-date even if building goes back to the 1930's. Strong kudos for this top-o-the-line AirBnB stay!!!

As described! Great beds and linens. Used fire pit that had wood and host responded with lighter and paper to allow us to enjoy for a few hours after long day of hiking. Many deer passed through yard at dawn and dusk, great to watch them over coffee. Host very responsive on our inquiries. I’d stay by again!

Wonderful space and very clean and nice! Elly and Scott were great communicators throughout the booking / check in process and offered us some nice recommendations while in the area! Close to all of the great attractions the area has to offer! Nicely stocked kitchen for cooking in. Very lovely place and would not hesitate to rebook !
