This was a wonderful house for a family vacation. Everything is beautifully updated and clean. Looks exactly like the pictures, no surprises! I loved Catherine’s suggestions for things to do in the area! Highly recommend and would absolutely come back

Great spot in SW Harbor. Very well appointed and beautifully designed place with comfy accommodations for our 2 families. Everything you need in the house and its a short walk from the coast. Highly recommend.

Home was spotless and clean and well designed and decorated. Everything felt new and fresh. The bed linens as well as the mattresses themselves were wonderful and appreciated by all in our party. The small town of Southwest Harbor was delightful and one of our favorite hikes was right up the road at Flying Mountain trailhead. Great communication between host.

PROS: Beautiful, well decorated, comfortable house. Great water pressure. Fully stocked with quality products for everyday living. Landscaping made the patio very relaxing. Location near cute small towns and Acadia National Park (a must to visit even if you aren't an outdoors person--has "easy" walkable short trails). Superb local support. Clara came right away to fix a non-working heating stove and got the door lock fixed the next day. Her husband helped us with car trouble over several days. They are great neighbors and property managers! CONS: Host Catherine did not respond to our inquiry about changing plans due to Hurricane Lee for 2 days, and not until we contacted Airbnb to intervene. Then she did not replay again for ~11 hours to another email, making it stressful and more expensive to change plans. We realize that she has a no refund policy but had hoped for more flexibility with a once in decades event. She did refund part of one day of cost for a 2 day shorter stay.
