Can’t recommend “Yome” enough. It was the perfect weekend getaway for my girlfriend and I. It is exactly as listed, no surprises, and was all around a great experience. We absolutely plan on staying again in the future.

Mary & David were very welcoming. The yurt was very cozy and the hosts made sure we had everything we needed. My friend and I enjoyed exploring the mountains and the local train tunnel. The pups and chickens also kept us company :) definitely hope to be back in the summer!

Wonderful little spot. It was a very nice way to get away from everything for a weekend without sleeping on the ground

Always wanted to try a yurt! Place is really neat! Mary's husband David is a treasure. The temperature dropped to 29 degrees though & I had to leave the 1st night because I didn't want to stoke the fire all night nor get sick as camping in Virginia in January isn't wise! Mary said she'd refund my 2nd night even though I went home the 1st night; folded all of the unused bedding for her to use for the next guest. Might be a good idea to block bookings below 40 degrees as I envisioned a heated yurt. Now I've had the experience for an hour & will return when the weather warms to visit this incredible couple & their fantastic yurt on their spectacular 70 Acres! Thank you for understanding☺️
