The breakfast was great if you do choose swahili breakfast, you have to request earlier. Helpful host who helped with our bags. Improve in clearing bills in an organized way and keep records.

Fine stay overall. Good: - Location - Staff proactive in organizing transportation from and to the airport - Listed Amenities - Some of menu items were very good and relatively affordable, like the curry, grilled fish, fish soup, chicken masala, smoothies, etc. Included breakfast was substantial, which included a dish, tea, juice, and a piece of fruit Areas of Improvement : - Cleanliness: My bed had a blood stain? which showed through the sheets. My friend’s room had ants. The pool looked murky. - Staff Communication & Confusion: They told us we hadn’t settled a dinner bill when we already paid and were the ones proactively seeking out the bill prior. Toilet was leaking and we had to be proactive coordinating with confused staff about clean up—it didn’t appear fully fixed. They were confused about their menu. - Consistency of Service: My friend’s room didn’t have towels. The food and portion size were a bit inconsistent, but fine overall. Other menu items were disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at Msafini! The staff was super friendly and eager to help with any request we had. The room was clean and we loved the balcony overlooking the pool area. The roof top is amazing - a great spot to enjoy breakfast with a view! The location is great, 5 minutes by foot to the beautiful beach! (We only had some misunderstandings trying to organize some special request for the breakfast (we had brought some gluten-free bread to have as a side instead of the usual toast). But it worked out most of the mornings :) Not a big deal)

I had an amazing time at Msafini Hotel during the Lamu Yoga Festival. Preparation for my stay, room, staff, food, all was excellent! I'll be back!

Amazing place. Beautiful view and aesthetically pleasing. Staff where really friendly and helpful. Can’t complain, everything was right so I’d definitely recommend
