We had such a great visit (they made our eclipse dreams come true!)—complete with fabulous, clean and beautiful accommodations (that deck and upstairs lake view is unparalleled); wonderful suggestions of places to eat/walk around; a breakfast buffet that was even better than anticipated (yogurt, granola, individual bobs red mill oatmeal cups, delicious coffee!, fresh fruit). Bob & Karyl are delightful hosts who love what they do, and couldn’t be better at it! We enjoyed all the chats. Can’t recommend highly enough!!!

Karyl and Bob are so lovely. They make you feel like you're at home away from home. The place is immaculate, the breakfast spread is wonderful and they keep gluten-free options. They are so fun to chat with and learn about the area or their lives. They are great for a chat or they'll leave you to yourself, whatever your preference. They are super helpful and warm. The house is really beautiful and the lake view is stunning. The house temp was set to 70, which was fine for us. 10/10, highly recommend, we had a perfect weekend getaway.

Karyl and Bob have a wonderful way of welcoming folks into their home that just makes you feel like family! My mom and I had a comfortable and relaxing stay. We slept in the room with the view of Lake Champlain--what a view to wake up to. I loved hearing their stories about the beginnings of the family's summer getaway and how that space evolved into the beautifully appointed Ring Dang Doo. Tremendous hosts! I can't wait to visit again soon! (Give Brody a big hug from us!)

Excellent place with great views overlooking the lake. The place had direct access to the lake and was very peaceful. Best part of the stay was hospitality from Karyl and Bob which made us feel at home. Overall would recommend the place 10/10.

Our stay at the Ring Dang Doo was superb! Full of personality, exceptionally welcoming, and a top notch stay - i would recommend staying here to anyone planning on visiting Burlington, VT, especially if you want to feel welcomed and cozy. The property is gorgeous and offers beautiful views if you’re not in the mood to leave the island - Karyl and Bob have lots of amazing recommendations for local things to do! They are also amazing to chat to, debrief and have a laugh! The room was pristine, cozy, and spacious with a priceless view. And i couldn’t even begin to describe how amazing the breakfast spread they offer fresh every morning! Staying here is a level above anything else and my partner and I will definitely be booking this again for our next visit to Vermont!
