This is a great stay for anyone in the area for work. Joshua and family are great host.

Perfect place to stay!
If you are in the area working from out of town like I am you will be hard pressed to find a better solution than this. The housing is very close to Plaquemine's business area, yet in a quiet "country" setting. The unit is about the size of a hotel room , yet has amenities you won't get at a hotel . Simply having a washer and dryer in the unit and not having to go to a laundry mat is a huge convenience then you have a mini fridge/freezer and a stove top. I don't know how old these units are but they appear very new and clean. The host is very friendly, accommodating, and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it can be. If I come back to this area to work here again, this will be the first place I look to for my stay.

Hi, I'm Joshua. Plaquemine is a busy city, housing quite a few major chemical plants among others. A few years ago, my dad (who's a Supervisor at an area plant) mentioned a need/complaint that he heard about from tons of employees on a weekly basis: There's simply not very many quality places to stay long-term if you're from out of state/town. So we set out to help remedy the issue. We decided to create a place that felt like "home away from home" rendering convenient location, modern amenities, and a private "I actually enjoy staying here" vibe. It was here that Peace Of Mind Rentals was born! So, feel free to stop by "up front" (where my parents live). My mom loves meeting new people and would be glad to offer you a glass of southern, home-brewed sweet iced tea! Make the place your own! You're satisfaction is the "key to our success"!
