Was up on a hill. I definitely recommend going on 20 to True rd. I don’t like the roads but we managed. The house was very quiet and had privacy. Needs a little updating but it was fun. We would totally come back.
This place was amazing! A very peaceful and serene setting. Close to New River Gorge National Park and two beautiful state parks. Carolyn was very quick to respond to any questions or comments.
Needed a quiet get away to rest my mind and recharge. Very peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of activities right at the residence! Place is actually nicer than the pictures!
Secluded spot. Spacious. Loved the hundreds of books available and the games and puzzles.
I’m sure Carolyn’s is a fine host. Just got canceled an hour before arrival and had to scurry to find another place within this budget. Unsuccessful so paid more to stay in this area.

My husband is a retired German Language professor and I am still loving my work as a school psychologist. We travel, read, and grow wonderful flowers in our little piece of the world. When not on Tallery Mountain, we keep returning to Saint Malo, France. We love the food, the sea and the history there almost as much as the food, the mountains and the history here. We are West Virginians, born and raised. Company is always welcome.
