Beautiful spot for a calm get away

We stayed at Ben’s over the new year for 3 nights. 3-5 families with 10 adults and young children under 6 - this was a great place to get together with our friends, unwind and decompress for a few days. Not to mention difficult to find a place with this many beds for all. Ben met us upon checkin - bonus with an early checkin. The place was neat and tidy, clean linen and fresh towels provided. There is no dishwasher or TV, which we were aware of. The listing mentioned wifi, but there was none, which tested our parenting skills a bit, but we made do. Kids enjoyed pottering around the two little beaches looking for crabs, kayaks to paddle around the bay and full access to the raspberry patch. The weather wasn’t too great for us but turned it on the last day which really made our trip and allowed us to get the most of the fire pit and enjoy the beautiful setting. The place is a little dated and basic, but spotless. We had a lovely time!! Ty Ben!

Great place for our extended family to gather for Xmas. The added bonus is we had our yacht anchored in the bay with access via a private beach. We enjoyed all our meals at the outdoor area with views stretching to Cygnet. Ben was very accommodating and arranged an authentic Xmas tree for us, which we decorated on arrival.

We never expected such a perfect spot for our 3 families with so much space to enjoy: The beaches surrounding the private point provided hours of exploring, with a bonus to have the kayaks. We sat for hours enjoying the view, while the kids explored the beautifully maintained gardens. Some of us enjoyed Ben’s bikram yoga and other just to relax in the hammock or on the balcony and read a book. The kids loved playing with the playful dog Sassie and the adults really enjoyed deep conversations with Ben. The fire pit was great for soaking up the views and cooking marshmallows and the fresh raspberries from the garden added to the experience. Thank you Ben, we have found a beautiful place to return to make more memories!

A perfect location for a group or family get together who enjoy simplicity and solitude. Ben, the host, accommodates any request, the house was spotless, and its a beautiful location with water views all round.
