We stayed here for Merlefest 2024. It was a quick drive to the festival. The property was quiet and relaxing, a great place to relax and get ready for the next day. The hosts were very responsive and kind. They even started up the fire area for us. I would definitely stay here again and likely will for the 2025 Fest.

I felt a beautiful peace over this place. The connection with the host was like finding a friend for life. The desire to meet my needs was a beautiful thing. I can see this place developing into even greater possibilities as they grow. The eagle cabin where I stayed was perfect for me. Walking to the bathhouse even at night was no problem and actually had an element of rustic fun with it. I actually meet other guests that way, and had beautiful interaction with them as well. I recommend this place of refuge to anyone. I came and got more than I ever expected.

Lovely little cabins (but without indoor facilities) in a nature lovers atmosphere. A great value for basic stays and overnights. Lovely Christian couple/owners. Close to the Gathering Church. God Bless this property.

The Eagle cabin is a nice getaway.  it's a quiet, simple, basic cabin with a clean bathhouse steps away.  i'd almost forgotten how clear the stars can be away from a city.  it's just around the corner really from The Gathering Church and minutes to Wilksboro.  it was much less than a hotel. Loretta is a great host.
