lovely view from penthouse. literally everything in walking distance, chemist, IGA, bottle shop, restaurants, pool was lovely, and the penthouse apartment is self was massive. Loved our stay will come again

The view from this property really is stunning. However, the apartment itself was really disappointing for the price point. Positives: it’s a large apartment with a nice view. 
Negatives: pretty much everything else. When we arrived, the apartment hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupants (sticky floors, fish scales everywhere, gross bathrooms). Not a great start. However, the place just kept surprising us: the toilets didn’t flush; the vertical blinds were busted; the air-conditioning was broken; the tv/dvd wasn’t working; the couches were filthy and stained; 4 of the 6 dining room chairs had broken legs - as did the balcony chairs; and strangely there were only 4 forks available (which made for an interesting dinner on our first night with 8 people). It’s worth saying that the agents that manage the place (realestate across the road) were lovely, and that this *could* be such a great property - but at the moment it has been neglected and is in desperate need of some TLC.

This place was absolutely amazing, clean, location is perfect for those summer nights on the balcony watching the waves. We had great communication with the host Amanda, very prompt and professional, we needed a new bed for the apartment as one was sunken, the efficiency and service was amazing and they got it done asap for us. Will definitely consider for our next stay at Ettalong. Marissa
