Host was very friendly and helpful, but the place was dirty and literally falling apart. Paint and plaster was falling off the walls, kitchen is disintegrating and there is a lot of loose tiles on the floor. On top off this the bed felt like it was falling apart, there was wet spots on the wall from the AC and there is a pump connected to the AC that kept us awake. The internet connection was also really bad, compared to the new place we had to find. We booked this place for 9 nights, but left after one. We spent 2-3hours cleaning the place after check-in, and had to get new sheets and towels as there was stains on everything. The beach is nice and the surroundings are very Caribbean, but it doesn’t make up for the rest. There is a simple restaurant and bar on the beach, but it didn’t feel clean. This place needs a renovation before taking in guests.

Fiquei habitado da maneira que queríamos ,,,pelo valor da hospedagem não tem como exigir muito. Betty e sua família são muitos prestativos ,,,divertimos muito com a Betty e seus familiares e também alugamos um carro da propriedade dela no próprio local. Caso queira um lanche ou refeição existe na própria instalação é muito pratico e gostoso.

Location fantastic on the beach blue water but not much snorkeling. I went to Kiteboard but no wind. room was big clean but lacking is some kitchen items. Margaret and Betty were attentive & got us what we needed. Trees had overgrown and the water not visible from balcony. On site is a restaurant/bar with limited menu, they accommodated anything we needed. The staff and locals are ver friendly. Another restaurant 5 minutes walking & grocery store (very expensive) 15 minutes walking. Margaret will rent a car & arrange anything from airport pickup or drop off. A hassle are sand flies ( No see ums). Bites Most people not effected by insect repellent. active in the morning & sunsets. Or when there is no wind. protection is baby oil & wear long sleeves and pants. If bit use rubbing alcohol to clean. We took non drowsy allergy pills for itching. You can rent a kayak from them & 20 minutes paddle to one of the swimming pig islands. We went for blue water and did not disappoint.
